Roberts Racing with our current team started in 2022, but Roberts Racing itself started back in 1983 when Larry Roberts started racing go karts. A four-time Track Champion and two-time State Champion, Larry was a master Go-Kart driver. It was no question his son Mike Roberts would follow suit and start racing go karts at 24. Keeping up the family name Mike won multiple championships in the karting world.  As luck would have it the tradition would continue when Mike had a son of his own, Josh.  At the age of 12 Mike & Larry had Josh in a go kart living up to that Roberts name. Josh won many races in his karting career, but he was looking for something more. He moved up to street stock racing when he was 16. Car racing was a totally new thing for Roberts Racing but through many long nights and lessons learned he is the two-time Southern Ground Pounder points champion winner we have today.
